Dan Brown

My favourite writer is Dan Brown. He was born in June, 22 in 1964. Is an american and he writes since 1998. The genre that he usually writes about is conspiracy, thriller and mystery.

His most important novel is "The Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons", both have Robert Langon as the principal characther, those are only two books of a book serie. The other books are "The Lost Symbol", "Origen" and "Inferno". All the histories are about a treasure hunt in twenty-four hours, and the topics are always religion, art, museums, secrets societies, and more. Three of these books have been adapted into films, you can find the trailers on youtube, but they are not as good as the books, specially because they don't add the explanaitions of many masterpieces, history of places and painters and stuff like that, and that is very important to me in the books. He's a really problematic writer and makes catholics feel angry because, for example, in The Da Vinci Code, the story is about a group, the "bad guys", are trying to find the Holy Grail that it was the cup were Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene drank. And Robert Langdon discovers that (spoiler warning!) the Holy Grail is actually Mary Magdalene, and she had a child with Jesus. That's a complete plot twist to believers, especially to catholics.
