English Language Challenges

Talk in another language is always a challenge, but i'm going to name three difficulties that I confront:

The first one is that I'm a very shy person when I have to talk to new people, and that happen to me while speaking spanish so imagine how shy and nervous I am when I have to talk in English. In that moments I forget everything that I know and I start talking like Tarzan. And maybe you can read and write in English, but speak is the most important way to communicate, and the best way to learn the language. So the best way to improve this challenge is thinking that English is my mother language, and imagine that I'm American, British or Australian, also when I forgot a word, I try to remember any song in English that has the word and then try to remember the word in Spanish.

The second challenge is the vocabulary, maybe you know all the gramatic but if you don't know common words... then what you really know? So the best way to solve this is learning a couple words a day and try to use it in your life.

And the third one is improve your hearing, I mean when you talk with a native speaker probably you won't understand everything, that happen to me a lot. The best way to get better in this is listen interviews in English,  for example, my favorite bands and singers are American or British, so when they release a new interview I try with all my heart not to search the subtitled version and I hear it over and over again until I know exactly what are they saying. I do the same with the songs, but that's more difficult because they usually sing fast
